Having trouble with your Automatic Satellite dish?
Well, you are not the only one;
Freeview and Sky TV have changed their satellite provider to a Korean satellite. Unfortunately, the transition has caused some unintended consequences in New Zealand; the issues only affect those of us with automatic satellite dishes. Permanently fitted dishes are not affected
Therefore, all automatic satellite dishes in NZ must be reprogrammed to work correctly again. Our ALDEN dishes are no different; they cannot locate the satellite because they are still programmed to find the old satellite, and we have had no warning that this was going to happen.
Our technicians have made the following videos to help you make those changes in the SSC box yourself. See the videos below, both show the same thing but in different ways
There are five parameters your SSC box requires to find the new satellite, and they are as follows:
Frequency: 12650
S/R: 30000
pol: H
Fec: 2/3
Mod: DVB-S2
