This IP67 waterproof switch has many applications, we mostly use them for alarm systems on the manual satellite dishes in motorhomes. Or used to stop electrical operated bed motors when they reach the end of their travel.
The switch is fitted so it turns off when the dish is down. So if the driver starts the vehicle and the dish is still open an alarm is activated to warn the driver to fold away the dish.
Other external applications are a limiter switch for electrically operated slide-outs, or electrical steps, and beds, etc.
