A well-proven, easy to use, manual satellite dish which is often fitted in European Caravans and Motorhomes as a replacement for Omnidirectional antennas. Connect directly to a TV with a digital Free-view decoder and the system is complete to watch TV anywhere in NZ

The 650mm dish has excellent signal capture. Manufactured in France using powder-coated aluminum, UV resistant plastics, UV resistant cables, and stainless steel, it is ideally suited in NZ's harsh sun and salty environment.

The design of the dish means it is less intrusive than alternatives allowing it to be installed inside cupboards and hidden without disrupting the aesthetics of the vehicle.
These dishes were originally designed to replace the directional analog antenna found in many of the European caravans, see the last image which shows one of those antennae

Things to be aware of when fitting one of these dishes:

The hole on the roof should be approx 250 mm from the side of the vehicle so that the dish does not protrude over the edge of the vehicle.

The shaft length inside the vehicle is about 450 mm long, when fitting the dish in a shallow cupboard, less than 450 mm deep, drill a 40-50 mm hole in the bottom of the cupboard to allow the user to turn the knob at the bottom.

Installation is quick and easy which keeps the costs down so if you want to receive HD digital satellite reception then this is an ideal alternative to the fully automatic satellite system providing excellent all-round value for money. These units can be installed at our workshop in Silverdale.
